Chief Minister Tony Brown says it's important for ministers and department members to agree on policy under the principle of collective responsibility.
He spoke out after Graham Cregeen, MHK, was sacked from the Department of Tourism and Leisure and Juan Turner, MLC, asked to be moved to the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
Both said afterwards they had serious disagreements with decisions or policies put forward by the DTL.
