Holden Quits Peel

by isleofman.com 22nd December 2009

Manx Radio Sport understands that Peel Manager Rick Holden has quit as Manager of Peel.

The news comes as the club prepares for the first major final of the season when they play Rushen at The Bowl in Boxing Day's Railway Cup Final.

The former professional played most famously for Oldham and Manchester City.

On Saturday, Peel lost 3-2 at home to struggling St. John's - the defeat means the westerners are second in the Sure Mobile Premier League four points behind leaders Rushen, although they do have a game in hand.
