Looking good for a white Christmas!

Heavy snowfalls left parts of the Isle of Man under four inches of snow at the weekend, and some people are asking 'could we be in for a white Christmas?'

Cold weather looks set to stay for the next few days, raising the hopes of those wishing for a festive-looking December 25.

Colin Gartshaw of Ronaldsway Met Office says there are no guarantees, but this year there's a very good chance there will be snow on the ground on Christmas Day.

He says we could well be in for a white Christmas:
