Bethany Clague calls off charity run

by isleofman.com 17th December 2009

Manx athlete Bethany Clague has called off her pre-Christmas endurance run up-and-down Douglas Promenade.

Bethany was due to start on the first stage of her latest challenge - to run 100 lengths of the Prom - this morning.

But she's ill and after completing just four lengths in the early hours of this morning she had to give up.

Bethany won't be running as planned today or tomorrow, but is hoping to do about a third the distance she set herself, on Saturday morning, with all funds raised going to charity.
