Police have charged a man in connection with a disturbance on licensed premises.

It happened at around 10.45pm on Sunday in Market Square, Ramsey, and involved a group of men.

One man received facial injuries in the incident.

Shortly afterwards there was another incident, this time at the rear of College Street, Ramsey, although it's not clear if the incidents were linked.

The police are still appealing for witnesses into the disturbances.
