Police in Ramsey are still appealing for witnesses to an accident in which a man was seriously injured.

It happened around 5.45pm on Friday on the Beinn y Phott Road, about half a mile from its junction with the A18 Snaefell Mountain Road.

A Ford Focus car left the road and came to rest in a bog about 50 metres away.

There were three men in the vehicle, one of whom was treated for serious but not life threatening injuries.

Another had fractures and the third received minor injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to ring 812234.
