Police will be out in force around the Island's nightspots this evening (Saturday) as the Christmas party season reaches its peak.
The force's Central Alcohol Unit warns it will take a hard line on anyone found committing an offence inside or outside pubs and clubs.
The message to revellers - enjoy yourselves, make the most of the festivities, but don't spoil things for everyone else.
Police want to combat disorder, assaults, drunkenness and criminal damage around licensed premises.
Those charged with an offence will be fast-tracked through the courts and could be banned from bars and clubs for the rest of the season.
Sergeant Stephen Maddocks says the aim is to ensure party venues are safe places this Christmas.
