Close battles in Premier League

by isleofman.com 12th December 2009

The battle to survive in the Sure Mobile Premier League remains a close one.

Michael shared four goals at home to Ramsey to earn themselves a welcome point.

Nick Hurt netted one of the Michael goals with Tom Skillicorn and Ryan Fairclough finding the net for Ramsey.

Meanwhile, fellow strugglers St John's fought bravely before going down 1-0 at home to reigning champions St George's – with an own goal deciding the game.

Corinthians ended their awful record against Old Boys with a fine 2-1 win at the FA Cup holders.

James Beattie and Steven Ward were their scorers with Callum Stewart on target for the hosts.
