More willow lantern workshops

Preparations for one of the highlights of the festive calendar in the Isle of Man take place this weekend.

Willow lantern making workshops are being held at the Freemasons' Hall in Lezayre Road today (Saturday) and tomorrow.

On both days they will run from 10am to 4pm, with the annual lantern parade itself taking place through the town during the evening of Saturday, December 19.
