North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson says he will put his money where his mouth is and cut his own carbon emissions.
In the House of Keys yesterday, he asked what the government would do to cut its CO2 footprint by ten per cent in 2010.
He says his question was inspired by the Friends of the Earth campaign which asks the entire Island to do the same next year.
After the sitting, Mr Henderson said he wasn't asking the government to do something he wouldn't do himself:
