Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a traffic accident near Alpine Corner on the TT course.
The incident happened shortly after 9.30am on Saturday, on the main Ballaugh to Kirk Michael Road.
In particular, officers say they would like to speak to the driver of a white pick-up truck who was towing bales of hay towards Ramsey at the time.
