New immigration rules based on UK system

The Isle of Man's new immigration system should make the process clearer for applicants and authorities alike.

That's the belief of government officials after a new points based approach was introduced.

It applies to foreign nationals from outside the European Economic Area seeking to move to the Island for employment.

Karen Scott from the external relations department of the chief secretary's office says it's based on a system used in the United Kingdom:
