MHK 'touched' by turnout for Ellan Vannin service

Ramsey has paid its respects to those who perished in the loss of the Ellan Vannin.

A plaque bearing the names of all those who drowned was unveiled on the quayside from where the boat left on her last voyage.

A short service of commemoration was held for a large crowd who turned up despite the wind and rain.

Ramsey MHK Anne Craine says she was touched that so many people wanted to pay their respects:
