Legal personnel and staff at Douglas courthouse have observed a minute's silence in memory of Island advocate Paul O’Neill.
The body of the 45-year-old was found beneath the Erskine bridge near Glasgow on Friday afternoon.
He had been in his native Scotland after appearing in court there a week ago.
Mr O’Neill was involved in a number of significant cases in the Island, including the Peter Newbery double murder trial and the defamation case involving the late Roly Drower and Island millionaire Albert Gubay.
The tribute came before Tuesday's business in the court.
