Villa Confirms Three Top Stand-Up Shows

The Villa Marina has once more confirmed its reputation for attracting first-rate comedians to the Island with the news that Sean Lock, John Bishop and Jason Manford are set appear in 2010 and 2011 respectively.

 

Making his second visit to the Island, Sean Lock (pictured) will bring his new 'Lockipedia' show to the Villa Marina on 18th May 2010.

 

The star of BBC2's 'QI' and Channel 4's '8 Out of 10 Cats' has been dubbed "one of the finest and most original comedians around".

 

Liverpool comic John Bishop, one of the fastest-rising stand-up stars in the UK, will set the standard for the year, with his show, 'Elvis has Left the Building', billed for 1st March 2010.

 

Meanwhile, muliti-talented writer, comedian and presenter Jason Manford is set to perform on 25th February 2011.

 

Hailed by Jonathan Ross as "one of the most consistently funny and effortlessly charming new comics around", Salford-born Manford has won a huge following from his star turns on radio and TV.

 

Tickets for Sean Lock are priced at just ?15 and go on sale at 9am on Saturday 12th December at the Welcome Centre (Sea Terminal).

 

Tickets can also be obtained via the Villa Marina hotline - (01624) 600555 - but as demand is expected to be high, the Villa Marina regrets that it cannot guarantee a response to every call.
