The funeral of a well known local woman who died in a road accident will be held next week.
Thirty-eight-year-old chartered accountant Dru Hamm was killed crossing the road outside the Hop Garden pub at Mount Murray on November 4.
Dru was born with cerebral palsy and her determination won public admiration earlier this year, when she reached Santon in the Parish Walk.
After her death, colleagues and friends paid tribute to 'a remarkable woman', who overcame her disability to live life to the full.
The funeral service will be held at Broadway Baptist Church on December 11, at 12.30pm.
A book of remembrance for Dru has opened at the Well Bookshop next door to the Church.
