Bowl scheme a 'missed opportunity' - FA

The Isle of Man Football Association is disappointed the Bowl redevelopment won't be going ahead, following Douglas Borough Council's vote to withdraw funding.

The FA was a partner in the scheme and had secured money to be used for the playing surface from the United Kingdom's Football Foundation.

President Tony Jones sees it as a missed opportunity, and says there is still an urgent need for repairs to the current facilties:
