Silverstone Welcomes Date Switch

The owners of Silverstone say they are delighted next summer's British MotoGP will now not clash with the T.T..

When the provisional calendar for next season was published, it showed the race scheduled for 6th June - Mad Sunday.

Talks with MotoGP bosses resulted in the race being moved two weeks later.

Silverstone Chief Executive Richard Phillips says maintaining contact with the Isle of Man Government will benefit both events in the future:-
