Festive atmosphere comes to Ramsey

by isleofman.com 27th November 2009

Christmas in Ramsey will be even brighter from today.

Lights on the Britannia International tree, located in Parliament Square, will be switched on at 4.15pm.

The ceremony will be performed by the winners of a children’s Christmas competition, organised by the Ramsey branch of Britannia in conjunction with Michael Primary School.

Half an hour later, at 4.45pm, the Royal British Legion Poppy Princess and her attendant will switch on the Rotary Club of Ramsey Christmas tree and festive lighting by the town's courthouse.
