Bushy's boss hoping for a livelier TT 2010

A fixture of TT fortnight, the Bushy's beer tent in Douglas, will be a big attraction for locals and visitors alike during next year's festival.

But back in June, Bushy's boss Martin Brunnschweiler was vocal in his dismay at the authorities' refusal to allow him to put on street entertainment in front of the tent.

In 2007 he was allowed to organise entertainment in addition to that offered by the Department of Tourism and Leisure, and he hopes that arrangement will apply again next year:
