Anne Frank's 'sister' to talk at dinner

by isleofman.com 26th November 2009

The committee which is bringing the 'Anne Frank + You' Exhibition to the Isle of Man in March has announced a major coup.

The guest of honour at a black tie fund raising dinner on January 30 will be Eva Shloss, the posthumous half-sister of Anne Frank.

A large number of school children will visit the exhibition, which has a strong anti-discrimination theme.

It's going to cost around ?50,000 to bring it over, and on Mandate PM today Graham Bell asked one of the organisers, Carol Jempson, where the money was coming from (play extended audio file):

If you would like to help bring the Anne Frank Exhibition to the Island, or attend the fund raising dinner, you can email Carol Jempson for more information.

Her email address is capajem@manx.net
