by isleofman.com 26th November 2009

The eagerly anticipated details of what's planned for next year's TT, as far as racing and entertainment is concerned, have been unveiled at the Bike Show in Birmingham.

This year the Department of Tourism has its own stand in a prime spot in the main hall and already it has attracted a great deal of attention.

Tourism Minister Martyn Quayle and TT and Motorsport Manager Paul Phillips held a news conference in front of scores of journalists from the biking press at lunchtime today (Thursday).

Our sports editor Tim Glover was there and filed this report for Mandate PM (play extended audio file):

There will be more on this story in Mandate tomorrow, from 7.30am.
