The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has launched a new special offer for TT 2010.
The 'TT Taster' offers fans reasonable deals on travel in Practice Week: ?99 return for a rider and bike, or a special travel and accommodation package of ?159 per person (for three nights' bed and breakfast).
Practice Week offers many attractions for both diehard enthusiasts and those who may be visiting the TT for the first time.
There are good spectator positions to be grabbed and the Island’s roads are less congested for those who wish to sightsee.
This latest offer is being promoted in association with the Department of Tourism and Leisure at the NEC Bike Show in Birmingham, which runs from 27th November to 6th December.
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Chief Executive Mark Woodward said, "I am delighted to announce this new offer in support of the TT.
"The TT Taster provides the opportunity for motorcycle racing fans to experience some of the atmosphere of the Island’s top motorsport event, but perhaps at a more leisurely pace, if that is possible with the TT!
"I feel sure that it will attract new visitors to the Island for this prestigious event and will be of valuable assistance to the Island’s tourist sector and the accommodation providers at a time when capacity is available.”
Minister for the Department of Tourism and Leisure Hon Martyn Quayle MHK commented, "The TT continues to be a major contributor to the Island’s economy.
"I am delighted that the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has introduced this new special offer to attract new or existing TT fans to savour some of the TT experience during practice week, when there is greater availability of accommodation.
"I am sure this offer will be welcomed by TT fans and the Island’s tourist industry alike."
