There's been a road accident involving a car and a lorry on the New Castletown Road.
No further details have been officially released (2pm), but a photograph emailed into Manx Radio shows a burgundy Ford Escort trapped under the rear of a flatbed truck.
It happened near the Mylchreest's Garage and the Saddle Road junction.
The last update from the Emergency Services Joint Control Room asked for drivers to avoid the area if possible.
