New Season Sponsorship for Marown

by isleofman.com 24th November 2009
Marown Football Club has kicked off the new season with brand new shirts, thanks to a three year sponsorship deal with Medis Limited, a pharmaceutical company based in Douglas.

Commenting, Stuart Colligon, Medis’s Managing Director, said, "Marown are a great example of a local team playing to the highest standards.

"All involved with the team; the players, coach, and supporters, put a huge amount of hard work and enthusiasm into everything they do, and we are delighted to be able to help by funding the new shirts."

Welcoming the sponsorship, Marown FC’s Chairman, Tim O’Hanlon, said, "Marown AFC is extremely pleased to be receiving sponsorship from Medis for the next three years.

"Medis has already shown an active interest in the club across all age groups, juniors and seniors alike.  As a growing club, we are always looking for new players, coaches, and supporters to get involved with the club and, with Medis’s support, we believe that this is more than possible.

"The players look great in their new shirts and are currently having a successful season.  We hope that we can continue to build on this success over the coming years."
