The Isle of Man's first real ice skating rink throws its doors open to the public today.
The huge skating arena is housed in a marquee in the Villa Marina gardens and is the result of a joint effort between Sure Mobile and Kyran Bracken's Ice Skating Company.
It is capable of hosting up to 180 people for each hour long session and will operate until January 6.
