MHK wants to outlaw 'Plant Food'

An MHK is pressing hard to have the so called 'legal high' drug Mephedrone, or 'Plant Food', criminalised.

In the House of Keys tomorrow (Tuesday), North Douglas member John Houghton will ask the home affairs minister what action he is taking to make the supply and use of the substance illegal.

Mr Houghton says up to 300 people in the Isle of Man use the drug, and the figure is increasing all the time.
