Board chooses winning scheme

A new facility to replace Ramsey's former swimming pool has been chosen by the town's commissioners.

Three bids were presented to the authority on Friday, one of them a leisure facility including a bowling alley.

Details of the other two have not been made public.

The commissioners say they will announce the successful bid later this week.

Chairman Richard Radcliffe says they want the winning scheme to help boost regeneration in the town:
