Companies fined for NI offences

Thirteen firms in the Isle of Man have paid the price, after committing National Insurance-related offences.

Crosbie Cain and Kennish were worst hit, being fined ?750 and ordered to pay a penalty of more than ?27,000 for failing to pay NI contributions for employees on time.

Ramsey based CSI Limited faced a bill of more than ?18,000 for the same offence, and Marenzo Ltd, trading as Ciapelli's, was forced to pay back over ?15,000 with a ?500 fine.

Street Heritage and Manx Drain Surveys were among the other companies fined by magistrates.
