Tynwald backs licence fee probe

A Tynwald committee is to explore whether the BBC licence fee offers value for money in the Isle of Man.

Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen has gained support for a review.

The committee will also assess whether the Manx government should withdraw from the current arrangement.

Mr Cregeen says it will be a thorough examination, with the aim of determining whether the Island gets a fair deal:
