Isle of Man premiere on Saturday

by isleofman.com 19th November 2009

The excitement is building ahead of the Isle of Man premiere of 'Me and Orson Welles', at the Gaiety Theatre on Saturday night.

The film, starring teenage heart-throb Zac Efron and British actor Christian McKay, had its world premiere in London's Leicester Square on Wednesday evening.

Efron, who along with his co-stars will be at the Gaiety on Saturday, looked back fondly on his first visit to the Island, when he was interviewed on the subject in London.

He said he liked the idea of flying away to a fairly secluded place for a couple of weeks, and thought it was 'endearing and cool' to have a small group of teenagers 'hooraying' the actors as they arrived on the set.

On Talking Heads earlier this week, Steve Christian of CinemaNX said he was looking forward to quite an occasion on Saturday:
