Event to help fund team for Delhi

The Delhi Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton has left the Isle of Man after a three day tour around all the Island's schools.

Fund raising to send the Manx team to India next October is continuing.

A dinner will be held at Mount Murray on Thursday, December 3 where the guest speaker will be British explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes.

Badminton player Matthew Wilkinson, the Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Association press officer and athletics representative, is hoping the event will be a sell out (play audio file):
