The treasury minister has told Tynwald every aspect of government spending must be examined, to find ways to offset the huge shortfall caused by the loss of more than ?100 million in VAT revenue.
Allan Bell spoke at the end of a debate on the United Kingdom's decision to re-draw the 'common purse' agreement.
It has reduced the Isle of Man's share of the VAT 'take' and left a sizeable hole in public spending budgets for years ahead.
Mr Bell said members of Tynwald must be prepared to look at all possible ways to make savings:
