This evening's parade of the Queen's Baton along Douglas Promenade has been cancelled because of the poor weather forecast.
The baton is the Commonwealth Games' equivalent of the Olympic Torch and it's on its journey through all the competing countries.
However, it contains electronics which are sensitive to the weather, as well as decoration which isn't water proof .
Forecasters at Ronaldsway are predicting showers and fresh winds this evening, leading the organisers to move to their 'Plan B'.
A relay will now be held around the NSC in Douglas, visiting the main hall, bowls hall, secondary hall, squash courts, gym, swimming pool and atrium.
Organisers say the lack of space at the NSC means fewer people can run the relay or assist as helpers.
However, members of the public are still welcome to go along at 5.30 to see the baton and meet Tosha, the Commonwealth Youth Games mascot.
