Children from local primary schools had a chance to see the Queen's Baton Relay as it rushed round the Island today (Monday).
The baton will visit every nation competing in next year's Commonwealth Games before arriving at the opening ceremony in Delhi next October.
It arrived on Sunday and after visiting the schools it will take part in a relay with young Manx athletes on Douglas promenade tomorrow night (Tuesday) before heading to Jersey and Guernsey.
The high-tech baton is able to record messages and the children at Auldyn school and Scooil Ree Gorry in Ramsey had special messages for the games.
