The Chief Minister will be giving evidence this afternoon (Monday) to the Standing Committee of Tynwald which is investigating the UK's plans to amend the Common Travel Area Arrangements.
Under the arrangements, Island residents can obtain free access to the UK as of right without a passport.
If this changes there are fears officials in the UK could have the right to ask to see the passports of those from Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.
At 2.30pm the committee will hear from Tony Brown and Della Fletcher, the government's director of external relations.
The evidence will be taken in public in the Millennium Rooms in Legislative Buildings on Finch Road in Douglas.
