Island attraction for businesses

by isleofman.com 15th November 2009

Despite the Isle of Man's recent financial tribulations it seems we're still a very attractive place for businesses to relocate to.

Trade and Industry Minister David Cretney says the number who expressed a strong interest in doing so at the recent Business North West event in Manchester was well into double figures.

It's the first time the DTI has attended the event, which is regarded as the top business-to-business forum in the North West of England.

Mr Cretney says he believes the trip will attract further investment, more firms - and therefore more jobs - to the Island.
