Bell says 'no' to complaining about coverage

Treasury Minister Allan Bell has told the House of Keys that sometimes you just have to accept that some people don't like you.

During a discussion about recent coverage of the Island in the United Kingdom media, Onchan MHK Peter Karran had asked him whether he would complain to the BBC about comments made by the Tax Justice Network on the Politics Show.

North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson said he was concerned about a piece written in the Guardian at the weekend, and asked Mr Bell to let the newspaper know what he thought about it.

But Mr Bell said often, such complaints could be counter-productive:
