Getting the MOST from food and art!

by isleofman.com 10th November 2009

If your love of Indian food is matched by a love for fine art then a charity event later this week could be for you!

Manx Overseas Student Training, or MOST, is a small local charity which brings overseas students to the Island to gain qualifications they can use to get on in life back home.

MOST is currently sponsoring a young Nigerian woman on a business studies course at Isle of Man College.

The charity is planning an auction of donated art after a banquet at the Royal India restaurant in Peel on Thursday night.

Trevor Leach from the charity says it's an unusual combination, but should prove popular (play audio file):

The auction and meal are at 7.30pm on Thursday and the pictures can be viewed any evening this week at the Royal India in Peel, from 5pm.

For further information ring Trevor Leach on 832891.
