After 20 years, Steven Quine has a maiden career victory in motorsport.

He and co-driver Paul McCann are Island champions after winning the Black Horse Finance Asphalt Stages Rally, the final rounds of the Eurocars Motorsport Manx Rally Championship.

Nearest rivals Kex Walker and Danni Matthews retired midway through Saturday which confirmed the title for the duo on home tarmac.

After finishing 24 seconds ahead of George Collister and Janet Craine to clinch the race victory, McCann admitted the title meant a lot.

Andrew Leece and Graham Fargher were third.
