Hard work has been rewarded for owners of some of the Island's top self-catering accommodation.
Gold Accolades handed out at a presentation ceremony are the result of a new scheme mirroring one run by VisitBritain.
Independent 'quality in tourism' assessors visited properties ranging from converted barns to tiny cottages, and rewarded them for exceeding their star ratings.
John and Shirley Kneale of Ballaugh secured Gold Accolades for both their self-catering cottages, but say they didn't do anything out of the ordinary:
