by isleofman.com 7th November 2009

If you have ever wanted to have a go at Manx Gaelic but felt too intimidated, today might be your chance.

A very warm welcome will be extended to everyone who attends the beginners' lessons being held at Eary Cushlin on the west coast of the Island.

They are part of the Cooish Manx Language Week and the aim is to get more people interested in the ancient Celtic tongue.

Manx Language officer Adrian Cain, gave Manx Radio a flavour of what those who go along can expect (play audio file):

Those lessons are at Eary Cushlin from 10am until 4pm and they are open to all.

Tomorrow (Sunday) they run from 10am until are 2pm and you can find full details at myspace.com/cooish
