MHK calls for action, after tragic death

Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen is hoping the Department of Transport will look at improving safety along the New Castletown Road.

He says it's been a worry in his constituency for some time, and the death of 38-year-old Dru Hamm near Mount Murray has crystallised the issue in the minds of many.

Mr Cregeen says there are no pedestrian crossings between Douglas and Ballasalla on what is one of the Island's busiest routes, and he has been talking to the DoT about the concerns:
