Offshore jurisdictions, including the Isle of Man, must continue their work towards greater transparency in the wake of the Foot Report.
That's the view of international charity Christian Aid, which also notes leading western nations such as the United Kingdom and the United States of America still have a long way to go in this respect.
Much has been made of the Island's signing of international tax exchange agreements with many countries in recent times.
But local Christian Aid spokesman Phil Craine says the Manx Government's work in this area, though admirable, will only be truly effective if all other nations follow suit:
