David Watterson - inquest to open

The coroner is opening an inquest today into the death of a Douglas man, who was found dead at his home on the town's promenade last month.

The body of 52-year-old David Patrick Watterson was discovered a fortnight ago today, during the evening of Friday, October 23rd.

Police said at the time there were no suspicious circumstances.

Michael Moyle is expected to open and adjourn the proceedings, at Douglas Courthouse.

The hearing is scheduled to start at 9.30am.
