Call for safety measures on southern estate

It's time for traffic calming measures to be implemented on the Clagh Vane estate.

That's the call from the Ballasalla and District Residents' Association, which believes drivers are putting children's lives at risk.

Spokesman for the association Eddie Power says some motorists are using a back lane as a short cut, to avoid congestion caused by building work as the estate is rebuilt:
