Lord Bach lecture

by isleofman.com 2nd November 2009

Lord Bach will be the guest at the next Chief Minister's International Lecture later this month.

The Under-Secretary of State for the Ministry of Justice has responsibility for relations with the Crown Dependencies.

He's regarded as being a useful link for the Isle of Man in its dealings with the rest of the UK government and helping the Island's interests.

In the last week he's welcomed the Foot report - a UK government review into the Crown Dependencies and Offshore Territories - and stated the Crown Dependencies 'have much to be proud of in meeting high international standards'.

The event will take place on November 18 at the Hilton Hotel in front of an invited audience.
