But Valkyrs A stayed top, a point clear of Vikings, when they scored seven without reply at home to Vikings B. Ollie Webster bagged a hat-trick and the other players on target were Neil Jacobs, Gareth Morris, Greg Miller and Dave Hall. It was 3-0 at half-time.

The other game in the top divison saw Harlequins and Valkyrs B share the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

Tony Mansell and Peter Foxton, with a penalty, scored for Quins, who led 2-1 at the interval. Vic Fearns and Ollie Lockley replied for Valkyrs.

Ramsey moved two points clear at the top of division one, when they beat Vikings C, and second placed Castletown B suffered a crushing 6-1 defeat at home to Bacchas C.

Vikings A maintained their 100 record at the top of the women's premier league. Kim Carney, with a hat-trick, Della Williams (2) and Karen Faragher scored as they beat Castletown A 6-0 to make it six straight wins!
