OFT says take care when buying fireworks

The Office of Fair Trading says beware of anybody trying to sell cheap imported fireworks, because the potential dangers aren't worth the cash saved.

The OFT says all shops selling the products have to meet minimum standards for quality, as well as how they are stored.

And anybody who buys fireworks from unlicensed sources could be risking their lives.

Trading Standards Officer Suzanne McPhillips says only get them from sellers you can trust:
