Jewellery and tobacco taken by intruder

by isleofman.com 30th October 2009

Police are investigating a burglary in which gold jewellery was taken.

It happened sometime between Tuesday and Thursday this week at a flat in Derby Road, Douglas.

The stolen items included three gold gentleman's necklaces and a man's gold bracelet.

Twelve packets of Golden Virginia tobacco were also taken which police say will be very easy to identify, because the health warnings written on them are in Greek.

Anyone who has information on the burglary or stolen goods is asked to ring Police Headquarters on 631212, or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
